Japan's Frozen Fragrant Fish - Ayu Sweetish (6pcs/pack)

The Ayu sweetfish boasts a delightful combination of sweetness, cucumber, and melon flavors. Whether grilled or served as tempura, this versatile fish is a nutritious and satisfying option.

For a tender and smoky taste, try shioyaki-style, where you grill the fish with salt. This method truly enhances the natural flavor of the fish. For a crispy and delectable dish, consider using smaller Ayu in a delicate tempura batter.

Storage Tips

1) Refrigerate Immediately: Store Iwashi in the coldest part of your refrigerator as soon as possible. Wrap it in a damp paper towel and place it in an airtight container to retain moisture and prevent odors from transferring.

2) Ideal Temperature: Keep Iwashi at a temperature between 32°F - 38°F (0°C - 3°C) for maximum freshness.

3) Consume Within 1-2 Days: Fresh sardines are best when consumed within 1-2 days of purchase. For extended storage, I recommend freezing.
